Hello! Currently I'm working on the last Servant cossacks set, that will be a command set. 

Here is a teaser of 2 yesaul (junior commanders) models that I plan to include in this set.

Servant cossacks with snaphance muskets - ready to order

New set of shooty servant cossacks is ready to order.

Here you get 6 cossacks with early snaphance flintlocks that were the most popular type of handgun in moscovite tsardom at the end of XVI-th and at the first quarter of XVII-th centuries. They were heavy and unreliable with a weak small bullet, but also cheap to produce.

3 guys are made in kneeling poses so you can use them as some kind of scouts in Don or Ural cossack armies if you want. Moreover, these models can also be used to represent russian partisans of 1812 armed with obsolete firearms (need to mention that snaphance muskets were still in use for hunting at the start of XIX-th century in rural Scandinavia for example).

Teaser - more servant cossacks

 We need more servant cossacks with early flintlocks!

New set on the horizon!

 After a 2-month hiatus (I was studying and had no spare time) I return to sculpting.

Here I started new set - these will be servant cossacks with snaphance muskets of local moscovite fabrication. These were extremely popular firearms choice at the beginning of the 17-th century.

Servant cossacks unit painted and based

 A whole unit of servant cossacks based on 40x40mm bases! All the miniatures except esaul on foot are from sets of spearmen and matchlockmen.

Despite some hiatus work on this project continues, stay tuned and more to come!
